Billy Sawyer has been a part of training dogs professionally for over 10 years. A veteran of the U.S. Navy and co-owner of Bellator K9. Bellator K9 focuses on training police and military dogs and has been doing so around the world for years.
Billy served in Law Enforcement for 16 years. He started with the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in Jacksonville Florida. He then worked in Colorado. He was a K9 Handler, the unit trainer, the K9 Sergeant, and a Patrol Sergeant. He has attended numerous training courses to increase his knowledge, to include: Tarheel Police K9 Trainer School, NePoPo Silver School, NePoPo Gold School (x2), numerous decoy courses, numerous police K9 conferences, and has taught at many himself.
He looks forward to sharing his knowledge and can help with behavior modification and obedience.
